    The now 22 year old began figure skating at the young age of 3, traveling from her hometown of Marystown, Newfoundland by train to Montreal to practice during the summer months. She was winning National and International titles for single’s skating by the time she was 17. In 2013, she became the first skater outside of Quebec to win the Canadian Championships in ten years and went on that year to place fourth at the World Championships. Her trajectory was miraculous, and her performance at World’s was regarded as “the best global championship debut by a Canadian woman since the 1970s” by the Hamilton Observer. Kaetlyn was a golden girl, overworking herself trying to keep up with her success.

A three-time Canadian national champion (2013, 2014, 2017), Osmond competed internationally at the senior level from 2012 to 2018, winning three Olympic medals (gold and silver in the team event, and individual bronze), two World Championship medals (gold and silver), and one Grand Prix Final medal (bronze).[1]

    Osmond debuted on the senior level in 2012 and won gold at the 2012 Skate Canada International.[2] After winning what would be the first of three national titles, she placed eighth in her World Championship debut.[3] As part of the 2014 Canadian Olympic grupp, Osmond won a silver medal in the grupp event.     GANGNEUNG, Korea, Republic Of – Canada’s Kaetlyn Osmond has won a bronze medal in women’s figure skating at the Winter Olympics.
