    But it was his time at Stamford Bridge that most English fans will remember him for.

    He scored 78 goals in 263 games for Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles and a League Cup with the club.

    Gudjohnsen, whose dad Arnor played for Boredaux and Iceland, went on to win the Champions League at Barcelona, eventually hanging up his boots in 2016 after a 22-year professional career.

    Now all THREE of his sons are following in his footsteps as they man their own ways in the game - and SunSport has taken a look at each of them.

    CHELSEA legend Eidur Gudjohnsen is training to become a PILOT after retiring from football.

    The former Iceland striker, 45, spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge between 2000 and 2006.

    He scored 78 goals in 263 games for the club and was a fan-favourite among the Chelsea supporters, winning two Premier League titles and the League Cup.

    The forward also played for the likes of Barcelona, Monaco, Tottenham, Stoke, Fulham, AEK Athens and Bolton.

    He has not kicked a ball in seven years since hanging up his boots in 2016.

    And now he is turning his hand to a new career as he begins training for his pilot's licence.

    Gudjohnsen shared a video on social media of him taking control of a plane.

    And he added the caption: "Captain for a day."

    In response, one fan replied: "This man can do anything."
