The videos, which have amassed millions of views, all uppstart the same; a narrator lip-syncs the opening lyrics as their classmates dance around to act out the story of the song's protagonist, Simón. While on the surface, the videos are just fun reenactments, the deeper meaning and history of the titular track is explicitly queer in its lyrics.
