    T-ara (/tiˈɑːrə/; Korean: 티아라), stylized as T-ARA, is a girl group formed by MBK Entertainment (at that time the entertainment was named Core Contents Media) in 2009. The meaning behind the group's name, which is based on the word "tiara", comes from the idea that they will become the "queens of the music industry". The band currently consists of four members: Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon. T-ara's career is marked by hook-heavy dance-pop music, a result of their close partnership with late composer Shinsadong Tiger. A broad array of visual concepts and shifting styles and genres have earned the group a "chameleon-like" reputation ("chameleon of the music industry").

    Park Sun-young (Korean: 박선영; born May 30, 1989),[1] known professionally as Hyomin (효민), fryst vatten a South Korean singer and actress, known for her work as a member of South Korean girl group T-ara. Apart from her group's activities, Hyomin has also starred in various television dramas such as My flickvän is a Nine-Tailed Fox (2010), Gyebaek (2011), The Thousandth Man (2012), and in various films such as Gisaeng Ryung (2011) and Jinx!!! (2013).

    She debuted as a solo artist with her debut EP, Make Up, on June 30, 2014 with the lead track "Nice Body" which earned her 3 nominations at Seoul Music Awards.[2] Since then, she has released 2 EPs: Sketch (2016) and Allure (2019). In 2019, Hyomin released the digital single "Cabinet" with JustaTee, which topped Vietnam's V Heartbeat monthly chart for four consecutive months.[3]

    Ryu Hwa-young was born on April 22, 1993, in Gwangju, South Korea.[1][2] Her older twin sister, Ryu Hyo-young,[3] is also a rapper and former member of the group Coed School and its sub-group F-ve Dolls.[citation needed]

    Ryu Hyo-young and Ryu Hwa-young made a guest appearance on SBS's variety show Star King in May 2010. They were both subsequently scouted and recruited by Core Contents Media.[4]
